Connect your Selling Partner API
When you connect an Amazon Seller account to ThinkAd, you will need to connect to the SP-API (Selling Partner API) as part of the connection flow, as shown in the screenshot below.
After clicking Connect Account (the purple button), users are redirected to the Amazon login page. Once logged in, you will be prompted to authorize access on Amazon. Once authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to ThinkAd to finalize the connection.
For Amazon Sellers:
If you are the primary user of the Amazon Seller Central account, you can log in directly with your Amazon credentials when prompted.For Advertising Agencies:
If you are an advertising agency user connecting your client's Amazon Seller account to ThinkAd, your client (the primary user) must grant your account the necessary permissions to connect the SP-API without their involvement.
Send the instructions below to your client so they can update your user account permissions. Once permissions are granted, you can complete the account connection from step 3 onwards using your own login credentials to give ThinkAd access to the SP-API on behalf of your client.
How to Give a User New Permissions
As a primary user, you can grant another user the right set of user permissions to by following the steps below.
Log in to Seller Central.
Click the ⚙️ gear icon to expose the drop-down menu. Go to User Permissions.
Click on Manage Permissions of a current user OR add a new user, and then come back to this screen to manage the permissions.
Mark off the following permissions.
Click Continue. The changes will be saved. Now, you can proceed with the connection on the ThinkAd app.
